State of Art/DC: A conversation is a series of forums about the visual arts in the DC region. This new series, launched in 2015, aims to make new connections and generate new ideas among visual arts leaders, artists, administrators, and artreprenuers.
ArtTable is pleased to partner with the Smithsonian American Art Museum (SAAM) to present State of Art5/DC this year. The program will take place on October 10th in the Kogod Courtyard.
Sessions are dived into two sections of approximately 40 minutes each and feature minimum of 10 speakers who in turn address a specific question about the current state of the arts in the DMV. At halftime, there is a networking and conversational break with wine and snacks. The presentations are Pecha Kucha style—20 slides, 20 seconds each. Previous sessions have connected over 750 attendees and all were sold out.
ArtTable is the leading national non-profit organization dedicated to advancing women's professional leadership in the visual arts.
